How does a stone get ground?

Just walk as usual. Steps come from Health, so they count even while the app is closed. When you open the app, the stone in your hand is ground by the steps walked since last time. When it reaches the steps set for that stone, it becomes a perfect sphere and is complete.

My steps aren't showing up

Check that step reading is allowed in the iPhone Settings app under Health → Data Access & Devices → Walkstone.

Can I grind more than one stone?

You can carry as many stones as you like, but only the one in your hand is ground. Swap it anytime on the shelf, opened from the top-right button. Each stone keeps its progress when you swap.

How much can I try for free?

Stones you haven't bought can be ground for free up to a sixth of the way. Steps you walk past that point are saved on the stone and ground in as soon as you buy it.

How do I restore stones I bought?

Tap "Restore purchases" at the bottom of the screen opened from "Pick up a new stone" on the shelf while signed in with the Apple ID you used to buy them. Stones are one-time purchases, so there is never an extra charge.

Will my progress move to a new device?

Your stone progress is stored only on your device. They move to a new device only if you restore it from a device backup. Purchased stones can be restored on any device with "Restore purchases".

I can't hear any sound

Sound effects follow your device's silent mode. Turn off silent mode to hear them.
