This policy explains what information FitLevel (the "App") handles, why, and how it is stored and deleted.
Workout logs (exercise, weight, reps, time), bodyweight, sex, nickname, onboarding answers, routines, and your unit and notification settings are stored in a database on your device. They are not sent to the operator's servers (except the totals sent by the Friends feature below).
Friends is optional. Only if you use it, an account is created for your device and the following is stored on the operator's server (a service of Supabase, Inc.): the account identifier, your Friends nickname and invite code, weekly total XP, workout count and streak weeks, your overall rank and level, friend, request and block relationships, and the contents of reports you send. If you link your Apple ID to keep your account when changing phones, your Apple ID identifier (and the email address Apple provides, if any) is stored too.
Your workout logs themselves (exercise, weight, reps), bodyweight, and sex are not sent to the server.
When a report is made, the operator reviews it (reason, note, and both nicknames) and may reset a nickname or suspend an account.
Purchases are handled by Apple Inc. (App Store) and RevenueCat, Inc. To process purchases, an anonymous user identifier, the plan purchased, purchase/renewal/cancellation status, App version, device type, and country/region are sent to those companies. Your name, email address, and workout logs are not sent.
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push-notification server is used.
The App does not collect your name, location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifier. It collects an email address only if you link your Apple ID in Friends and Apple provides one. It contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
To provide the App, calculate next-session targets and strength ranks, schedule reminders, verify purchase status, provide Friends (the friends leaderboard), handle reports, prevent abuse, and respond to inquiries.
On-device information is kept until you delete the App; deleting the App deletes it.
Friends information is kept until you delete your account. You can delete it anytime from the Friends tab, which erases it from the server.
Purchase information is retained under Apple's and RevenueCat's applicable terms.
You can turn off reminders at any time in iPhone Settings. You can sign out of Friends or delete your account at any time. Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
The App is for users aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
This policy may be revised when the service or the law changes. Important changes will be announced in the App or by other appropriate means.
